Beautiful ceramic relief tiles, known as azulejos, adorn facades and interiors throughout Porto, Portugal. Some tell stories such as those found on churches and public buildings and others are just purely for decoration.

Wakehurst Place is a stunning country estate in West Sussex, England managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Wakehurst is a sheer delight particularly in Spring and features flowers (lots of bees), natural woodlands and lakes, an Elizabethan House and houses the 21st century architecturally designed Millennium Seed Bank.

If you’re into gardens this is a real treat.

Church

Another treat from Munich visit. The Theatine Church Munich looks like it is carved from icing or dusted with icing sugar.
